Executive Summary

The objectives of this project are:

  1. To identify the role of the Association in promoting an ASEAN-wide political and security cooperation that is aligned with the ASEAN Vision 2020.
  2. To analyze on the effectiveness of ASEAN as a security community through an analysis that covers various schools of thought.
  3. To address the present and security challenges that ASEAN faces, along with its prospects in maintaining regional resilience.
